The astrolabe is an historic icon of global discovery. Its beginnings date back to ancient times, and since its inception, the instrument has been considered a technological marvel—an ancient analog computer—used by generations to inform human understanding of the heavens and earth, and to guide early  exploration.  By design, the astrolabe was constructed to identify the precise intersection of place and time in order to chart opportunity for all who used it.  From the Salah prayers of the ancient Middle East to the circumnavigation of the globe by European explorers; from settlement surveys of the early Americans to the calculus of southeast Asian astronomers, the astrolabe remains one of the only culturally inclusive artifacts in human history.

For our purposes, it is the aesthetic embodiment of our story, our motivation as an enterprise, and our intention to deliver opportunity to our clients and partners the world over.
